Ms Nthomola (LLB, MBA) is a seasoned corporate and commercial legal practitioner with over 20 years of experience providing strategic legal counsel across banking, non-banking financial services, pension, telecommunication and mobile money industries.

She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Mafa Legal Consultants, a Law Firm that offers specialised advisory services in Commercial Law, Labour law, Conveyancing, Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Industry specific regulatory compliance. Until 2024, she served as the Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs at Orange Botswana, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s Legal, Regulatory, Corporate Governance, Internal Controls, Risk and CSR frameworks. Ms. Mafa-Nthomola has served on boards across pension, fintech, micro-lending industries as well as NGOs, where her governance, legal and risk leadership have been instrumental in strengthening oversight and accountability.

She is also widely recognised for her commitment to corporate social responsibility, having championed initiatives that advance digital inclusion, youth empowerment and women’s participation in technology and enterpreneurship.
