Ms Seoketsi is a seasoned accountant with over 18 years of progressive experience, across both the public and private sectors in Botswana. Currently serving as Assistant Accountant General at the Ministry of Finance under the Office of Accountant General, she has extensive expertise in financial governance, public sector accounting, strategic planning, and financial systems development.

Her career is marked by a strong track record in consolidating government financial statements, managing multi-million pula budgets, overseeing treasury and ensuring regulatory compliance. She has successfully led financial reporting and policy advisory functions for key ministries and parastatals, including the Ministry of the then Basic Education and the Local Enterprise Authority (LEA).

A CIMA Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and Associate Certified Professional Accountant (ACPA) with the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA), Ms. Seoketsi also holds a Master’s degree in Project Management. Her professional contributions include prior service on BICA’s Membership and Examination Committee.
